JAMMU, Apr 14: Under the supervision of the District Election Officer, Kishtwar, Dr Devansh Yadav the Democracy Riding Race took place at Raimarg Sukhni. This inclusive event witnessed participation from new voters, elderly individuals and a 75 year old Mohammad Maqbool Wani also participated in it. Various engaging activities enriched the programme, including the oath-taking ceremony for new voters, horse riding, snow sledging, trekking, and camping.
Dr. Muzaffar Ahmad Rather, the programme coordinator, alongside publicity incharge KDA Tourism, Kishtwar, spearheaded the event. The enthusiastic participation of officials and volunteers, including BLO Sukhnai, Manzoor Ahmad Rather, Nambardar Sukhni, Nawaz Ahmad, CRPF 52 Battalion Kishtwar personnel including SI, Vishal Moodi and SI, Mohinder Singh, as well as HC Ashaq Ali and Syed Umer Vlogger from Kishtwar Police and Warwan Police respectively, elevated the spirit of participants to new heights.
The organisers complimented CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police for their invaluable support in making this event a resounding success.
