JAMMU, Nov 18: Describing the demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes a historic step by Narendra Modi led Central Government, Rekha Mahajan, BJP Mahila Morcha Jammu district president, said no doubt people are facing little hardships with this decision of the Government but they should think in the Nation’s interest.
Rekha Mahajan said this while interacting with bank customers during her visit to many branches of different banks, where she along with other woman activists of the Morcha help people in filling forms for exchange of currency and doing other transactions.
While interacting with the bank customers, particularly the womenfolk, the BJP Mahila Morcha leader told them that the recent decision to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes is the boldest decision ever taken by any Government in the last 70 years.
“These types of decision need political will and it is only the Narendra Modi-led NDA Government which has guts of taking and implementing such decision in true spirits. It is the duty of every citizen to support and cooperate with the Government which is working for the larger interests of the society”, she said, adding, no doubt people are facing little hardships but they should think in the Nation’s interest and come forward to appreciate this historic step taken by our PM Narendra Modi.
While making a fervent appeal to the womenfolk not to get misled by the false and misinformation campaign of the opposition parties, Rekha further told the womenfolk that this decision is motivated by PM’s honesty and courage of conviction, while those who oppose it are motivated by an attempt to sabotage the entire exercise and fail the real objective because they have less to show and more to hide.
