REASI, Aug 30: Deputy Commissioner Reasi and District Election Officer Shabir Ahmed Bhat today highlighted the importance of vote in democracy.
Addressing the students of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Reasi in connection with programme SVEEP, he threw light on right to vote and power of vote. He also appealed the students to further aware the masses for getting themselves enrolled in Electoral rolls.
Principal of the school, P D Sharma, also addressed on the occasion while all the staff members along with the students took oath to cast vote on the day of polling.
Later a SVEEP rally was flagged off by the DEO.
