BANI, May 30: MLA Bani, Jewan Lal Lalhal, today concluded a four-day tour of far flung and neglected areas of Bhandar, Sandroon Kalanu, Chatri Nag, Kotri, Dandi, Hathan, Dandiot and Dolla of Bani constituency during which he inspected public works as well as projects.
The MLA took first-hand overview of the public issues related to drinking water, electricity, road connectivity, healthcare, education facilities etc.
MLA convened a public meeting at Chattri Nag in which locals organised cricket tournament and Jeewan Lal distributed wining trophy to local team. At Chattri people highlighted various problems.
While responding to the demands, the MLA said that all issues and projected demands will be resolved in due course of time after taking up the same with concerned officers. Meanwhile, the MLA appealed the locals to avail the benefits of all the schemes launched by PM, Narendra Modi.
He inaugurated newly constructed CFC building at Amerlli(Sandroon) constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 6.38 lakh under convergence with MGNREGA, development of ground at Chattri Nag(Bhandar) constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 02 lakh and construction of culvert at Chab Nalla Bhandar at an estimated cost of Rs 2:50 lakh.
While addressing largely attended Janta Darbars at Dandi, Sandroon, Dandiot and Hathan, Bhandar, Kalanu and Dolla he said connecting of GREF road to Sandroon and Upper Sarthali to Bhandar road is major achievement of BJP Government.
He said that deplorable condition of Bani constituency and choice of the people of this Constituency made him to quit the SDM Post and join politics.
He said the Government led by Narendra Modi has sanctioned 17 PMGSY roads under first phase and 4 roads under 2nd phase and one CRF road from Billawar to Bani via Derigalla for Bani constituency and with the construction of these roads most of tourist and religious place will have road connectivity. He complimented Dr. Jatindra Singh, MoS in PMO for sanction for Motorable bridge over Sewa Nalla near Manjeri park which was long pending demand of people of Bani.
