JAMMU, Mar 30: Senior BJP leader and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Gulam Ali Khatana has said that the deprived sections of the society are posing their faith on BJP only because of the revolutionary and public friendly policies of PM Modi led Government.
In a handout issued here, today he said that Indians living in any part of the world are feeling safe and secure because of the bold image of their country abroad under the leadership of PM Modi.
“Rescue of Indians trapped in Ukraine during the war time and other such operations have shown to the world the might of our nation,” the BJP leader said.
He further said that foreign policy of India is not what it used to be there earlier and today every country of the world feels proud in having business, cultural and other diplomatic relations with India.
“Many Indians are playing an important role in the progress of the Western and other countries while Indian products are also being taken abroad with a sense of satisfaction,” Khatana maintained adding: “Back home also we are on path to become a leading world economy.”
He said that programmes like start-ups, Mudra loan etc have on one hand reduced unemployment and on the other these have improved Indian economy to a large extent.
“In Jammu and Kashmir the abrogation of Article 370 and 35-A was a revolutionary step which ushered an era of progress and prosperity,” the firebrand BJP leader said.
He said that stone pelting, cross border infiltration and other issues of J&K have ceased to exist and a new era of development has begun in which the youth is pursuing education in proper way and is moving towards bright future.
“Such a spree of progress will further continue and the people of J&K are going to vote overwhelmingly in the favour of BJP and the party will win all the five seats in J&K and the one from Ladakh Union Territory,” Khatana continued.
He said that Tribals of J&K, Balmikis, Gorkhas, PoJK refugees and West Pakistan refugees have got their rights under the leadership of PM Modi while under the rule of NC, PDP and Congress these deprived sections of the society were badly discriminated for more than seven decades some of these people even had no right to vote in Assembly elections.
