JAMMU, Feb 21: Government has allocated departments amongst the Law Officers in the Srinagar Wing of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
As per the order issued by the Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Mohsin-ul-Showkat Qadri, Senior Additional Advocate General has been allotted Home Department, J&K Crime Branch, all Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act Appeals/NIA cases, Anti-Corruption Bureau, School Education Department, J&K BOPEE, Revenue Department (Srinagar, Budgam and Baramulla districts).
Senior Additional Advocate General Abdul Rashid Malik has been allotted Social Welfare Department, Service Selection Board, Revenue Department (Anantnag, Kupwara and Shopian districts), Power Development Department and J&K Power Development Corporation.
Additional Advocate General Asifa Padroo has been allotted General Administration Department, Health and Medical Education Department, SKIMS, Revenue Department (Pulwama and Kulgam districts), Higher Education Department, Islamic University of Science and Technology and Srinagar Development Authority.
Additional Advocate General Satinder Singh Kala has been allotted Civil Aviation Department, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages while as Additional Advocate General Alla-ud-Din Ganai has been allotted J&K Building and Other Construction Board, Information Department and Industries and Commerce Department.
Deputy Advocate General Mohammad Rais-ud-Din has been allotted Jal Shakti Department, Housing and Urban Development Department including Urban Local Bodies, Srinagar Smart City Ltd and ARI and Trainings Department while as Deputy Advocate General Mubeen Wani has been allotted SIDCO, SICOP, Floriculture Department, Transport Department, J&K Forest Development Corporation, Revenue Department (Bandipora and Ganderbal districts) and Skill Development Department.
Government Advocate Sajjad Ashraf has been allotted Forest Department, Estates Department, Youth Services and Sports Department, J&K Sports Council and Drugs and Food Control Organization while as Government Advocate Rekha Wangoo has been allotted Sericulture Department, Department of Culture and Government Press.
Government Advocate Illyas Nazir Laway has been allotted Tourism Department, R&B Department, J&K Project Construction Corporation, J&K Economic Reconstruction Agency, J&K Cable Car Corporation, Tourism Development Corporation, Labour and Employment Department and J&K Lake Conservation and Managing Authority and Science and Technology Department.
Government Advocate Faheem Nisar Shah has been allotted Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Department, Rural Development Department, Horticulture Department, Agriculture Production and Farmers Welfare Department, Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department while as Government Advocate Jehangir Ahmad Dar has been allotted Election Department, Information Technology Department, IMPA and J&K Resident Commissioner, New Delhi.
Government Advocate Numan Indress Malik has been allotted Custodian Department, Architect Department, Chief Town Planner and Haj and Auqaf while as Government Advocate Furkan Yuqub Sofi has been allotted Geology and Mining Department and J&K Housing Board and Government Advocate Jeetender Singh has been allotted J&K Agro Industries Department and J&K RTC.
Government Advocate Zahid Qais Noor has been allotted Tribal Affairs Department and Khadi and Village Board.
Meanwhile, in partial modification of earlier order, it has been ordered that Monika Kohli, Senior Additional Advocate General shall also deal with the NIA cases/all Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act Appeals in addition to her own assignments in Jammu Wing of the High Court.
