JAMMU, July 29: A deputation of All Jammu Kashmir Panchayat Conference (AJKPC) led by Nirmal Kesar, AJKPC Youth Convenor met K.K Sharma, Advisor to the Governor and apprised him of various problems being faced by the people of Majalta.
Kesar highlighted the problems like frequent power cuts, shortage of water, shortage of staff in hospitals and schools.
He demanded installation of new transformer, repair work on bad roads like Dassian-Sail road, Khoon-Masjid to Nardie Mohalla road and others link roads of block Khoon.
Kesar told to Advisor that even after nine months of Panchayat elections, the development activities in rural areas are still at standstill due to non-availability of funds.
The Advisor assured that all the genuine demands would be looked into and the concerned officers would be directed to address the projected grievances at an earliest.
The deputation comprised of Sarpanch Ferozdin, Naib Sarpanch Charan Dass, Naib Sarpanch Namrita Bali, Panch Sukhdev Singh and others.
