JAMMU, Nov 13: A deputation of Roop Nagar JDA Housing Colony Welfare Association led by Uttamdeep Sharma, Association Chairman met JDA Vice Chairman (VC) and raised the issues and demands pertaining to the Colony.
The deputation demanded repair of undeveloped roads in different sectors of the Colony, development of parks of sectors 1, 3 and 5 which were still incomplete, starting of a community hall/club and opening of shops in sectors 3 and 5 by JDA.
Other demands raised on this occasion were maintaining of green strip along the main road and fencing of the green strip for its beautification.
Renovation of bathing Ghats which were constructed by JDA was also demanded.
The deputation comprised Bal Krishan Sharma, president and Vinod Kumar Vaid, general secretary of the Association.
The Vice Chairman of JDA listened to all the issues patiently and today he visited the colony with his team.
During the visit, the JDA VC issued necessary instructions to the field officers to put up concrete proposal for taking up all the developmental activities in the Colony.
