JAMMU, Apr 7: A deputation of Welfare Association JDA Housing Colony, Roop Nagar met with Vice Chairman Jammu Development Authority (JDA), here today.
The deputation met the Vice Chairman JDA under the chairmanship of Uttam Deep Sharma along with other members including BK Sharma, Vinod Vaid and NL Bhat and apprised the Vice Chairman regarding various problems being faced by the residents of the Colony.
They projected various demands before the Vice Chairman including repair of damaged roads in different sectors, development of park in sector-5, starting of community hall, construction of passenger shed on Aap Shamboo Road, opening of shops in sectors 3 and 5 constructed by the Authority concerned, handing over green belt park to Floriculture Department and other parks to JMC for maintenance and installation of Washbasin in the washrooms in sector-1.
The JDA Vice Chairman assured the members of deputation that earliest action will be taken for completion of the pending works in the Colony.
