JAMMU, Oct 7: J&K BJP vice president, Yudhvir Sethi while advising the protesting KP employees to resume their duties has appealed to the Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha to release the withheld salaries of these employees in view of the festive season ahead.
A deputation of Kashmiri Pandit (KP) employees under PM’s Employment Package posted in Kashmir valley, presently protesting in Jammu today met Sethi and brought to his notice that the Union Territory Administration has ordered withholding of their salaries which has made it very difficult for them to meet family expenses.
The deputation members told the BJP leader that the protesting KP employees are in Jammu due to extraordinary situation resulting due to target killings in Valley.
After listening to woes of KP employees Yudhvir Sethi assured that the Govt stands fully committed to provide safe and secure atmosphere to the government employees including the PM Package KP employees posted in the Valley.
He told them that even the Home Minister Amit Shah during his visit to J&K has made it amply clear that the Govt will not tolerate terrorism at any cost.
