JAMMU, Oct 17: A deputation of Rajpura Welfare Committee (RWC) consisting of president Dr Om Prakash and the members of the Park Development Committee met the MLA and brought to his notice the pitiable condition of the park.
The MLA gave a very patient hearing to the demand and assured that he will ask the concerned department to take up the improvement works such as dwelling and laying of green grass, widening and raising of boundary wall, fixing of gates, closing of small entry points, appointment of permanent Gardner, repair of fountain etc.
B K Gupta, Girdhari Lal, Tara Chand, Sita Ram, Sham Khajuria, Munshi Ram, Mangal Sharma, Anant Ram, Chowdhry, Khajuria, were present in the deputation.
