SAMBA, May 20: A deputation of the people of village Ban Lokahi Diani today met with Deputy Commissioner, Samba and informed her about the water shortage in their village.
A large number of the women of the village Ban Lokahi assembled in the premises of DC Office Complex Nandani Hills here and later met Deputy Commissioner, Samba. They apprised her that for the last few days they have been facing lot of difficulties due to shortage of drinking water supply. But the PHE Department gives drinking water to the area only for two days during the week.
They said many times they approached to the officer of the concerning Department in office on this issue, but he made fake promise and today they were forced to comes in her office.
DC Samba listened their grievances and assured them the problems will be resolved as soon as possible.
