SRINAGAR, Aug 26: Legislator Ajaz Ahmad Jan this morning called on Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah here and discussed various matters relating to the development of Poonch Assembly Constituency.
Among other things the Legislator highlighted the need for blacktopping of road from Mandi to Loran and sought Chief Minister’s intervention in this regard. He also talked about upgradation and improvement of various basic amenities in his Assembly Constituency.
Ajaz Jan brought to the notice to the Chief Minister the issue of salary disbursement to Rehber-e-Taleem Teachers (ReTs).
A deputation from Ramban, Asar and adjacent areas led by former MLA Dr. Chaman Lal also called on Chief Minister and presented him a memorandum of demands relating to the development of Ramban Assembly Constituency.
The deputation among other things requested for upgradation of roads, strengthening of educational institutions, upliftment of backward pockets and improvement in basic amenities.
