SRINAGAR, Feb 11: Several deputations today called on the Advisor to Governor, Khurshid Ahmad Ganai at the State Guest House and apprised him with their grievances .
People putforth their demands pertaining to flood relief, power supply ,road connectivity and other amenities .The Advisor gave a patient hearing to the projected demands and asked the concerned officers to take adequate measure for timebound redressal of these issues.
Deputations of daily-wagers of PHE, RDD, Irrigation & Flood Control (I&FC) Agriculture, civic bodies, NYC etc also apprised him with their grievances regarding regularization.
The other delegations which met Mr Ganai include PHE Contractors Association, houseboat owners, Fruit and Vegetable Retailer Union, Class IVth employees of various departments, Civil Society Khrew, Civil Society Jetty Baramulla, ITI trainers (Plumber), Elaqai Tameerati Board, ICDS Anganwari workers Ganderbal, Handicapped Association, Village Committee Awantipura and Stone Quarry Association, Athwajan.
