UDHAMPUR, Mar 4: Deputations of Ritti Panchayat and Bali Panchayat under the leadership of Puran Singh and Ex Sarpanch Sardar Singh, respectively, today met with MLA Udhampur Assembly Constituency, Pawan Gupta, in connection with problems and their demands.
Puran Singh of Ritti Panchayat demanded a tractor road from Ritti to Kothi and highlighted the scarcity of drinking water and low voltage of electricity whereas ex-Sarpanch, Sardar Singh, demanded road from Larh to Kumar Mohalla, repair work of building of Middle School and several link roads of Panchayat Bali.
MLA Pawan Gupta immediately made a telephonically contact with authorities concerned and gave necessary instructions in connection with the problems of the people of both Panchayats. The MLA told the deputation of Bali Panchayat that a proposal of Gandala-Bali Road with an estimated cost of Rs 5.50 crore has already been submitted to the Government for approval.
