JAMMU, Apr 23: The Victoria Cafe, a new Veg & Non-Veg restaurant located in Ward 54, Trikuta Nagar, Railway Road in Bahu constituency, was inaugurated by Deputy Mayor Jammu, Baldev Singh Billawaria, today.
In his speech, Billawaria praised the initiative taken by the owners of the restaurant, Sahil Dogra and Gourav Dogra, who were inspired by PM Modi’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, to become self-reliant and start their own business.
The Deputy Mayor further stated that such ventures not only reduce unemployment but also contribute to creating a drug-free society. He expressed hope that more youths would be inspired to follow their example and start their own businesses in Jammu.
The owners, Sahil Dogra and Gourav Dogra, promised to provide delicious food at a reasonable price.
Later, Deputy Mayor Jammu, Baldev Singh Billawaria, also inaugurated Rooster King, another Veg & Non-Veg restaurant located at Ward 61, Akhnoor Road, Paloura in Jammu North constituency.
Accompanied by Local Corporator Mohinder Kumar and other prominent personalities of the area, the Deputy Mayor praised the owner, Gourav Jamwal, for providing employment opportunities to the local people and contributing to the economic development of the region.
He emphasized that the Central Government is committed to providing better infrastructure and employment opportunities for the people of Jammu.
Gourav Jamwal, the owner, promised to prioritize customer satisfaction and offer a wide range of cuisines in his restaurant. The event was attended by dignitaries and was considered a success.
