All About Nancy Tyagi:
Nancy is a self-taught seamstress, and her Barbies were the catalyst for her first sewing experiment. She used to create doll clothing. She had no idea that this talent would become her main source of income years later. Their financial resources were severely strained as a result of the lockdown, raising serious concerns for Nancy’s future. When actual courses started, should she give it a go and attend UPSC coaching, or should she give content creation a shot? The brave adolescent (at the time) went with the second option.
Her objective was to provide her mother with a better life and spare her from the difficult existence she had-working long hours in a factory that tired her-by doing so. She brought roughly Rs 2.5 lakhs for UPSC coaching when she and her mother and brother arrived to Delhi. Nancy used the remaining funds to purchase a high-quality camera, lights, and editing phone. Her risk has paid off, as she is gradually becoming well-known for her “Outfits From Scratch” series, earning her family a respectable living and giving her mother a well-deserved respite.
Nancy Tyagi, now a well-known fashion influencer from Delhi, is originally from the Uttar Pradesh region of Baghpat. As a member of the Brut India Squad, she made her red carpet debut at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. Nancy Tyagi identifies herself on her YouTube page, which has amassed over a million subscribers: “My name is Nancy Tyagi, and I adore everything and everything fashion!” I make my own clothes from the ground up and style them whatever I choose. Aside from that, you can learn more by watching my videos. I enjoy testing out new skincare and beauty products.” She became well-known for her videos that recreated celebrity looks. In recent years, Tyagi has imitated a number of high-end ensembles worn by celebrities, such as Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt. Tyagi imitated the grey puff-sleeved dress from London-based Korean designer Miss Sohee’s Spring 2023 couture line that Bhatt donned to the Red Sea International Film Festival, as well as the Louis Vuitton gown that Padukone wore to the 2023 Oscars.
Nancy Tyagi donned a stunning pink gown with a long train that she had made herself. It was a work of art that took more than 30 days to complete and weighed more than 20 kilogrammes. This gorgeous dress has drawn a lot of attention and won the affection and admiration of fashionistas worldwide in addition to those in India.
Nancy’s Look Details:
She wrote, “Stepping onto the red carpet at the 77th Cannes Film Festival as a debutant feels surreal. I poured my heart and soul into creating this pink gown, which took 30 days, 1000 meters of fabric, and weighed over 20kg. The journey has been intense, but every moment was worth it.” She added, “I’m overwhelmed with joy and gratitude for the love and support from all of you. This is a dream come true, and I hope my creation dazzles you as much as your support has inspired me.”
Nancy’s baby pink gown has a lengthy train at the back, a strapless silhouette, and a sequined corseted bodice with layers of ruffles forming the skirt. She accessorised the dreamlike look with a spectacular ring, matching earrings, a bracelet, sheer pink opera gloves, and a delicate necklace.
