JAMMU, Feb 7: Asking his cadres and supporters to prepare for coming general elections as well as Assembly polls, Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Raman Suri today said that, spent forces that spoiled the State by encouraging corruption, nepotism and building their personal empires are again out to befool masses by seeking votes in the name of ‘change’. The people, he added have already made a change by rejecting the forces who have harmed the national interests over the years.
Desperate leaders of Congress, PDP and NC who denied their own workers their right to get elected to ULBs and Panchayats by not holding elections are today desperate to get into State Assembly and Parliament. These are the people who allowed Municipal Corporations to collapse and never cared to hold elections to them, he said adding that had they been sincere they would have allowed the democratic institutions to not only sustain but also strengthened.
