BISHNAH, Nov 30:          Continuing his campaign in Bishnah Assembly constituency, former Minister and senior Congress leader Gulchain Singh Charak, exhorted the people of his constituency to join him in his mission to make Bishnah a show piece town and develop the constituency as the most modern constituency in the State.
Addressing public meetings at Treva, Pasgal and Ward No. 4 in Bishanh, Mr Charak said that while many other towns are already on the path of development, the Bishnah and its other areas still remained under developed due to the poor attention given towards this important aspect by the people who represented this area. He said that we have to go a long way to realize this dream and make Bishnah a model, developed and prosperous town which he has cherished for a long time. Charak appealed to the people that he wants their vote and support to carry out his ambitious project.
Mr Charak underlined the primary needs of the Arnia and Bishnah towns  which include a clean and hygienic environment, good roads and foot paths, employment for youth, maintenance of the Sub-District Hospital and availability of life saving drugs, suitable accommodation for the existing Degree College which is still housed in the Higher Secondary School building, de-silting and maintenance of the water canal, flowing through the heart of Bishnah;  construction of a mini-stadium for local youth to play games and earn name and fame for Bishnah, construction of a park and walk ways on the banks of the water canal so that people can go for morning and evening walks and spend their leisure time without any disturbance.
The Congress candidate also stressed upon the requirement of suitable parking places for vehicles and the local bus stand. He said that traffic congestion happens due to wrong parking of vehicles making it difficult even for pedestrians to walk through. He  further added that huge amount of garbage is seen scattered all around presenting an un-hygienic and shabby look of this prestigious town.
