Development issues of Jammu city

Sir,
From past 25 years developmental process in Jammu city has been completely ignored by all State and Centre Govt’s. Jammu city known as the city of Temples is a nodal city having a huge influx of tourists and Vaishno Devi yatris. People of this city have always been peace loving. But due to partial and ignoring attitude of the govt people are facing a lot of problems in their day to day life.
I would like to highlight the condition of areas like Dogra Nagar, Durga Nagar, Bantalab, Muthi, Swarn Vihar, police colony and nearby locations. These areas have been deprived from basic amenities of life. The roads and lanes are worst condition, drinking water supply is irregular, acute shortage of power supply, Power supply transformers are of worst grade, none of the roads have street lights, and transport facility is poor and unhygienic conditions of nallahs, no garbage collection facilities, poor housekeeping and insufficient security arrangements. During recent elections people have voted the current BJP govt with a lot of hope and the impression that BJP/PDP Govt will work towards such developmental issues but till date no action has been observed from concerned authorities.
Citizens of Jammu are being ignored and have nothing else than to just wait and watch the ongoing negative approach of Govt. Adding to all this decision of AIIMS which was announced in Jammu city has been shifted to other area. The result of this discontent and dissatisfactionamong people will be seen in due course of time.
In the mean time we would like to appeal to Dr Nirmal Singh Deputy Chief Minister of J&K to intervene in the matter and take some steps for developmental process of Jammu city and above areas to the best satisfaction of public. Jammu which is known for its peace and harmony should not be underestimated and ignored any more.
Yours etc……
