RAJOURI, Feb 24: BJP State general secretary (organization), Ashok Koul, today said that that like other States of the country people in Jammu and Kashmir had expressed their faith in the leadership of Narendra Modi and today every citizen is feeling that their decision to bring in BJP was right and the developmental projects and welfare schemes have further strengthened the faith of the people in BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Koul was addressing a public gathering at Katbari in Kalakote constituency, where he visited today in the last leg of his three-day tour of Poonch and Rajouri districts. He was accompanied by Kalakote MLA Abdul Ghani Kohli. District president, Capt Som Dutt and local leaders.
“While under PM Narendra Modi dozens of projects and welfare schemes have been launched in record time, here in J&K, 10-month Government of BJP as coalition partner, too initiated various developmental activities and welfare schemes which frustrated the opposition parties and their leaders have unleashed a false, baseless and misleading campaign to misled the people but people are wise enough to understand as to who has given people-centric, unbiased and good governance”, Koul said and asked the people to expose these parties which are responsible for discrimination with Jammu and under development of their areas.
Abdul Ghani Kohli, in his address, said that Kalakote constituency had started getting due attention and care in the schemes of the previous coalition Government and a number of projects were initiated here keeping in mind the long pending genuine demands of the people. He assured the public to continue to work for fulfilling promises as MLA.
Earlier, the BJP State general secretary also chaired a joint meeting of five mandals of the Kalakote constituency, during which he was introduced with the new teams.
