But unfortunately even after several months nothing such happened and the project is moving on snails pace. It is incomplete even after three years.
Congress leader disclosed that recently Member Parliament and Union Minister Dr Jitender Singh had taken a meeting of concerned authorities of Devika Project of Udhampur in which he had warned the contractor of this project to complete work shortly. Even the District president BJP in a press conference had also mentioned about black listing of contractor. But all are silent due to reason best known to them.
Showing his concerned Sumeet Magotra expressed that from last three years Devika Project is becoming nuisance because contractor has initiated this project in Udhampur town in unplanned manner. He said all the lanes, drains and roads were dug at a time resulting collapse of the drainage system in the town. Political parties, social organizations and common man have staged demonstrations many times but BJP leaders keep silent all the time.
Magotra alleged that technical experts are not satisfied with the work and progress of this project, forecasting its failure. He also alleged that corruption is also involved in this project at higher level. He demanded CBI inquiry to expose the black sheep.
