Devotees demand construction of road to Ashram

JAMMU, Dec 16: Devotees at a religious function held at Hitkari Ashram Doke Wazir Nagrota demanded construction of service road to Ashram immediately.
The two-day annual function with a Mahayagya started in the Ashram today and a large number of devotees thronged the Ashram from early morning to participate in the function. The function will culminate with Puranahuti tomorrow which will be followed by serving of prashad to devotees.
The religious function will be held under the supervision of Swami Dwarika Nath Ji the founder of the Ashram. He demanded that a service road be constructed up to the Doke Wazira from Sainik School Nagrota as locals were facing hardships due to lack of road connectivity. An appeal was also made to MLA Nagrota Jugal Kishore Sharma in this regard also.
