JAMMU, Mar 9: Dogra Front and Shiv Sena J&K (DF&SS) has expressed concern over the issue of rigging in land records and the arrest of people in the missing land record case.
In a press conference here today DF&SS president, Ashok Gupta said after the abrogation of Article 370 and the conversion of J&K State into UT the Revenue Department of J&K should also have worked as per the norms of an UT under which the forest land is never allotted to anyone.
He also said that the people who issued ‘Fard’ for ‘Khad’ should be investigated as ‘Khad’ is a State land which is non-saleable like water bodies for which also the ‘Fard’ were issued by “the so called people sitting on strike.”
Gupta demanded investigation of officials who did paperwork to sell such lands.
“In 2006 refugees were allotted land in Bhalwal and ‘Fard’/sale of the land was stopped by the government but after the Ring Road passed from Bhalwal some elements started issuing ‘Fard’ of the land,” he maintained adding that after the ‘Fard’ issuance became online process some people felt trouble.
He claimed that after arrest of the accused, hue and cry is being raised to shield big fishes and hoped that the investigation in this matter may reach logical conclusion soon.
