DF&SS protests against atrocities on Hindus in B’desh

JAMMU, Dec 2: The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (DF&SS) here today under the leadership of Ashok Gupta, Shiv Sena president staged a protest demonstration against the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh.
Addressing the protesters Ashok Gupta said that minority Hindus in Bangladesh constitute eight percent of the total population of the country and the members of this minority community have faced at least 200 attacks in the last 50 days after the fall of Sheikh Hasina led Government.
He condemned the arrest of spiritual leader, Chinmoy Krishna Das from the Dhaka International Airport by the Detective Branch of Dhaka Police today.
The protesters also torched the effigy of Muhammad Yunus, Bangladesh leader.
Ashok Gupta said that a lawyer was also killed during clashes between security personnel and followers of Hindu community leader Chinmoy Das.
The protesters also demanded ending of trade with Bangladesh till the attacks on Hindus not stops.
