DF&SS protests against attack on Police party

JAMMU, Apr 12: Dogra Front & Shiv Sena J&K (DF&SS) workers here today under the leadership of their president Ashok Gupta organised a protest rally against the attack on Police party by the drug mafia which left an SHO along with other cops injured.
Addressing the protesters Gupta said that Balol Khad has become a hub for narcotic activities and is a Chitta hotspot.
“In last month alone, 6 to 7 alleged drug-related deaths have been reported in the area highlighting the severity of the issue,” he maintained adding: “The widespread addiction has rendered many young people directionless.”
The Shiv Sena leader emphasized that the menace has plunged numerous families into despair and disintegration and the situation is threatening future generations.
He demanded that there should be no easy bail for drug peddlers and the repeated offenders should not be granted bail under any circumstance.
Ashok Gupta lauded Police actions against drug mafia under the directions of DGP, IGP and other officers as a large number of peddlers have been arrested.
Abhishek, Ganesh, Bantu, Prem, Vikky, Kalu, Naresh, Ashish and others were also present in the protest rally.
