JAMMU, Dec 10: Workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (DF&SS) here today under the leadership of their president, Ashok Gupta staged a protest demonstration against the illegal settlement of Rohingyas in Jammu.
The protesters demanded deportation of these illegal immigrants as they have become a security risk for the nation and have a role in changing the demography of Jammu.
Addressing the protesters, Ashok Gupta said Rohingyas have managed Aadhar Cards, Ration Cards, free water connections and other vital facilities and their children are seeking admissions in government schools on the basis of fake documents while the local eligible children are being denied their legitimate rights.
He further alleged that Rohingyas have encroached State land and have established shanties there.
Gupta urged J&K Lieutenant Governor to initiate CBI inquiry and lodge an FIR to probe who brought and settled Rohingyas in Jammu.
The Shiv Sena leader said that there is no justification in providing water and electricity to Rohingiyas.
Prominent among those who were present in the protest were Nanaku, Sham, Dinesh, Rahul, Abhishek, Prem, Bantu, Naresh and others.
