JAMMU, Jan 31: Workers of Dogra Front & Shiv Sena (DF&SS) here today staged a protest demonstration under the leadership of their president, Ashok Gupta demanding removal of all sort of encroachments from the State land.
Addressing protesters Gupta said that the encroached land which belongs to the government shall be freed from encroachers and they should be booked for violating the law.
He said that there have been some allegations regarding encroachment of over 23 kanal of land in Ghaink village, Bhalwal and in Roop Nagar by two former J&K Ministers.
DFSS leader appealed to the Divisional Commissioner and Vice Chairman JDA that JDA should put its board on the land at Ghaink, Bhalwal to resolve the matter of its claim.
Gupta further said that the land in Roop Nagar must be allotted to the allottees and the encroachers should be removed from there so that law of the land can prevail.
Sushil, Deepu, Arjun, Kalu, Naresh, Sidhant, Chaman, Lovely and others were also present in the protest.
