JAMMU, Mar 22: Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (DFSS) under the leadership of its president Ashok Gupta, took out a procession against the recent attacks on CRPF and BSF jawans in the Valley resenting that no resolution or homage was paid in the Legislative Assembly to the jawans who sacrified their lives to protect the Valley people.
The procession was taken out from Hari Market, which passing through Bus Stand and Jewel concluded at Press Club.
While addressing the gathering, Gupta lamented that no action was taken by the speaker of J&K Assembly against the MLAs, who designated Afzal Guru, a convict of Parliament attack, as Sahib in the Assembly. He also wondered that Speaker remained a mute spectator while an independent MLA, Rashid in front of the Governor raised anti-India slogans and termed Afzal Guru as the brave son of the soil.
He also condemned the main opposition party, PDP, which on Afzal issue boycotted the Assembly, for not uttering a word on the death of CRPF jawans and a local Kashmiri youth due to militant attacks.
