JAMMU, July 4: Dogra Front & Shiv Sena (DF&SS) took out protest rally against PDD and Jal Skakti Department, here today.
The protest rally was organised under the leadership of its Party president, Ashok Gupta wherein the protestors were raising slogans against the both the Departments by holding empty water buckets and electric fans and alleged that both of Departments have been failed to provide regular supply in the scorching heat.
“As the mercury has touched 45 degree celsius in Jammu, electricity and water supply seems to have vanished into thin air, they alleged.
Ashok Gupta said that due to non availability of potable water and electricity, the residents of Jammu city were facing hardships and officials of the department concerned seems least bothered about it. “People are being forced to sleep in humid scorching heat as there is no electricity since last 36 hours,” Ashok Gupta said.
They urged the Lieutenant Governor to take cognizance of the matter and issue necessary instructions to the PDD for uninterrupted power supply.
Deepu, Kishore, Subhash, Ajay, Prem, Bantu, Vicky, Kalu, Naresh, Vinay, Atulya and many others were present during the protest demonstration.
