JAMMU, Feb 1: Director General, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Dr AP Maheshwari today felicitated 25 jawans with DG’s Disc and 24 jawans with DG’s Commendation Letter for their gallant action at Ban Toll Plaza,
On Friday, three terrorists were killed and huge quantity of automatic weapons and explosives were recovered during the operation in Nagrota.
In the Sainik Sammelan organized at GC CRPF Hiranagar, Nagrota (Jammu), DG CRPF Dr Maheshwari, Zulfiquar Hasan- ADG, J&K Zone, CRPF Jammu, Charu Sinha, IGP, CRPF Jammu Sector, Sarabjit Singh, DIG, CRPF Jammu Sector Hqr, SLC Khup, DIG, CRPF Hiranagar Range, Nitu, DIG, CRPF Jammu Range, PC Jha, DIG, CRPF (Ops) Jammu North, Anil Kumar Chaturvedi, DIG CRPF, Jammu Sector Hqr and other senior officers and jawans were present.
The event was organized under the stewardship of Chandra Bhushan, DIG GC CRPF, Hiranagar.
Central Reserve Police Force is the largest paramilitary force of the nation and is combating the internal security challenges effectively in J&K and elsewhere in the country.
