JAMMU, Feb 27: The Director General, Women and Child Development J&K, Mir Tariq Ali today reviewed the functioning of ICDS in Jammu Division.
Managing Director of the ICDS, J&K, Nitu Gupta, Jt Director D S Katoch, Atul Kumar, Dy Director ICDS Jammu and officers from various districts atteded the meeting. The DG directed the officers to ensure that all the Central Schemes meant for the women and children under ICDS are being implemented properly.
He also asked the officials to ensure that supplementary nutrition and other benefits are being provided to the beneficiaries as per the norms. Other issues related to the functioning of the ICDS wing were also discussed in detail.
