SRINAGAR, Aug 22: The Director General of Police (DGP) RR Swain has decorated Mubassir Latifi with the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police in a pipping ceremony held here today.
ADGP MK Sinha also attended the pipping ceremony. In a statement, the DGP RR Swain congratulated the promoted officer and hoped that he will continue his assignment with commitment and hard work for the department.
The DGP also extended his best wishes to the officer for his future endeavours.
Pertinently, after his promotion by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir recently, Latifi has been posted as DIG (Personnel) PHQ.
