DGP inaugurates alternate accommodation for police force

SRINAGAR, Aug 8: As a part of upgradation of infrastructural facilities for the police force, Director General of Police, K. Rajendra, today inaugurated the newly constructed buildings at Chatha under alternate accommodation.
The project was approved under Alternate Accommodation Programme for 2011-12 at a cost of Rs. 398 lakh. The project includes two blocks of 5-storied barracks (Block A&B) which will be utilized as office- cum-residence for the Commandant and 12 rooms with attach bath room facilities.
This accommodation is meant for the security forces that were accommodate in hotels, schools and other Government buildings.
