JAMMU, Feb 12: The Director General of Police (DGP), RR Swain, today sanctioned financial assistance in favour of the wards of the martyr police personnel in order to help them pursue coaching for civil services’ examinations.
As per an order, Rs 9000 each has been sanctioned in favour of 18 wards and Rs 3000 each in favour of two wards of the martyr police personnel/ SPOs.
The order further said that the AIG (Welfare) shall transfer the amount to the Staff Officers to DIG Armed Kashmir/Jammu, nodal officers for Mission Youth for further disbursement to the beneficiaries.
