DGP sanctions financial assistance, medical relief, special reward

JAMMU, Mar 26: Continuing with an aim to provide more and more welfare measures for police personnel and SPOs and to provide financial assistance to meet their urgent needs, Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh has sanctioned over Rs 5.45 lakh financial assistance and medical relief in favour of 21 SPOs.
He has also sanctioned special reward of Rs 1.30 lakh in favour of 13 wards of serving police personnel for qualifying different Competitive Examinations.
The financial assistance, medical relief ranges between Rs 10,000 to Rs 50,000 has been sanctioned in favour of 21 SPOs to defray the expenses in connection their self treatment or treatment of dependents. The amount has been given out of SPOs Contributory Fund/Police Pariwar Fund.
DGP has also sanctioned Rs 10 thousands each with Commendation Certificate Class-Ist in favour of 13 wards of serving Police personnel for qualifying different Competitive Examinations during the year 2020-2.
