BHADERWAH, Mar 23: The Director General of Police (DGP) RR Swain today visited Corps Battle School Bhalra in Bhaderwah area of Doda District.
Addressing nearly 1000 freshly recruited police officers at the facility, the top cop emphasized the privilege and responsibility of serving the country and community.
He highlighted the significance of lifelong learning in navigating a rapidly evolving world, urging officers to continuously improve themselves.
Swain underscored the importance of personal attributes such as intention, hard work, and ability, while encouraging officers to strive for excellence.
He acknowledged the dynamic nature of societal changes driven by technology and urged officers to adapt and excel in their roles.
Expressing gratitude to the Indian Army for providing the training opportunity, Swain emphasized the importance of making the most of it.
He commended the efforts of instructors and officers involved in coordinating and executing the training program, aimed at transforming recruits into capable and trustworthy police officers.
Swain expressed optimism about the enhanced synergy among security and law enforcement agencies, thanks to collaborative training efforts.
He recognized the dedication of individuals like Director SKPA Udhampur Garib Dass, DIG Training Sarah Rizvi, Principal of CTC Lethpora Tanveer Jeelani, and Deputy Director SKPA Rajesh Bali in designing and implementing the innovative training program.
Accompanied by ADGP Jammu Anand Jain, Swain expressed gratitude to the Commandant of the Corps Battle School Col Praveen Kumar and his team for their hospitality and informative tour of the facility.
He emphasized the importance of building trust and confidence within the community by ensuring the effectiveness of law enforcement against threats to national security.
Swain concluded by thanking Range DIG Shridhar Patil, SSP Javaid Mir, CO IRP 5 Bn Gh Jeelani Wani, and other local police officers for their support and cooperation.
