DGPC nominates two new Gurudwara Management Committees

JAMMU, Oct 7: In a bid to streamline and to bring more effectiveness in management of Gurudwaras, DGPC Jammu has nominated two new Committees of Gurudwaras.
As the tenure of previous Committee of Sri Guru Singh Sabha Guru Nanak Nagar Jammu was over, so as per the norms of DGPC a new committee has been formed on the recommendation of local DGPC member S. Jagpal Singh, cashier DGPC Jammu and under the presidentship of S. Somnath Singh with other office bearers including S. Gurmit Singh, senior vice president; S Jatinder Singh, vice president; S. Jagjit Singh, secretary; S. Kawaljit Singh, joint secretary; S. Parvinder Singh, cashier with members like S. Narinder Singh, S. Paramjit Singh, S. Manjit Singh, S. Malvinder Singh, S. Amanpreet Singh and S. Jagdeep Singh.
Management of Gurudwara Baba Fateh Singh Ji till now was directly managed by DGPC Jammu.
On the demand of Sikh Sangat and on recommendation of S. Balvinder Singh, vice president DGPC Jammu, a new committee under the chairmanship of S. Attar Singh, a renowned Sikh personality was formed with members S. Harbhajan Singh Behal, S. Dilbag Singh, S. Satwinder Singh, S. Tejinder, S. Deedar Singh and S. Sukhwinder Singh.
In a rare move all the members refused to accept any post and voluntarily offered services as Sewadars.
