MENDHAR, Dec 2: A local `dhaba’ at main market in Mendhar town was engulfed in flames after LPG cylinder leaked here this evening.
Reports said the incident took place at around 7 pm in the `Dhaba’ of one Mehmood Naz in main bazaar, near Govt Girls Higher Secondary School. It started from store room where LPG cylinders were kept. The fire engulfed the goods kept in the store room and also spread in the main Dhaba premises.
A fire tender was rushed to the spot which controlled the fire with in half an hour. The prompt action by Firemen contained the quantum of damage.
