JAMMU, Aug 21: Nagrota police booked a dhaba owner and its staff who allegedly violated lockdown orders issued by DM Jammu in wake of COVID-19 pandemic and kept the dhaba opened even after the prescribed timing.
“Even after regular warnings, the dhaba remained opened for late hours and today police booked the staff as well as its owner for violations”, a police official said.
The booked persons have been identified as Yashpaul, son of Jagan Nath, Ashwani Kumar, son of Sardari Lal, Kuldeep Raj, son of Sardari Lal and Hans Raj, son of Romesh Kumar.
A case under FIR Number 329/2020 under section 188 IPC has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
