JAMMU, Dec 26: On 26th day of protest, the employees of Dharmarth Trust today announced to go on chain hunger strike from December 28 if their demand of constitution of Board for all the temples under Dharmarth Trust on the pattern of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, will not fulfilled.
They sought intervention of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha in resolving various demands that they have raised including enhancement of their salaries.
A number of employees, including priests from various units of the trust such as Shri Raghunath Mandir, Hari Bhawan Purmandal, Uttarbehni, Birpur and Central Office Karan Bhawan participated in the protest.
Later, an executive body meeting of the Association was held under the Working President Rajinder Shastri in which future course of action was discussed.27
