JAMMU, Apr 7: In a meeting here today J&K Dharmarth Trust finalized arrangements for Ram Navmi celebrations especially with regard to grandiose Shobha Yatra to be taken out on April 10, 2022.
In this regard, the Trust in consultation with members of Dharmarth Trust Council and its Advisory Committee gave final shape to arrangements for the Shobha Yatra which shall be conducted by the Trust in collaboration with Sanatan Dharm Sabha under the supervision of Sabha president, Parshotam Dadechhi and Dharmik Youvak Mandal led by its president, Anil Sharma.
The meeting was chaired by Advocate Ajay Gandotra, Trust president in which Dr. U.C Sharma, Member of J&K Dharmarth Trust Council; Pt Shiv Raina, Chairman Advisory Committee, Ravi Bakshi, Sanjay Gupta, Vandana Sharma, Vijay Saraf, Rameshwar Singh Jamwal, Hira Lal Abrol, Vishal Abrol, Onkar Sharma, Anil Kumar Sharma and Darshan Sharma, Members of Advisory Committee were present.
Ajay Gandotra said that due to COVID-19 the Shobha Yatra was not held for the last two years but this time as the pandemic has subsided therefore the Trust has decided to organize the Shobha Yatra in a big way by holding the same with traditional zeal and enthusiasm.
He said that the Trust has planned a grand Shobha Yatra this time showcasing the vibrant culture of the soil. He also said that Ram Navmi will be celebrated throughout the Jammu Province by taking out Shobha Yatras in all districts of Jammu Province.
Gandotra appealed to the people of Jammu to join the celebrations in big numbers.
The proceedings of the meeting were conducted by Dr. Gopal Parthasarthi Sharma, Secretary of the Trust.
