JAMMU, Jan 13: The J&K Dharmarth Trust is gearing up for a four-day grand celebration at the revered Shree Raghunathji Temple in Jammu, marking the auspicious occasion of the Pran Pratistha ceremony and the inauguration of Shree Ram Lalla temple on January 21 and 22, 2024.
Chaired by Trustee Ajatshatru Singh and Dr Ritu Singh, a pivotal planning meeting in this regard was held at the iconic temple today, which was attended by key officials.
Brig R S Langeh (Retd), President of J&K Dharmarth Trust, and SSP Ashok Sharma (Retd), Secretary, along with other members, actively participated in strategizing the event.
The extensive preparations, including temple decorations, Pran Pratistha during the propitious Abhijeet Mahurat, crowd management, Bhajan Sandhaya, and VIP visits, were presented by Secretary Ashok Sharma.
As per a statement, renowned singers such as Sonali Dogra, Ravi Raghuvanshi, Raman Salathia, Nirbhay Salathia, and Vishal Gupta will captivate devotees with their melodious voices on January 22.
The celebration will also feature the vibrant Kud Dance performed by local folk artists and serve Dogri Dham, a traditional Dogra cuisine, among devotees.
The festivities kick off with Sunderkand Paath at Shree Raghunathji Temple on January 19, 2024. Dr Karan Singh and Trustee Vikramaditya Singh are personally overseeing every aspect of this significant event.
Dr Ritu Singh provided directives for comprehensive arrangements, emphasizing meticulous planning for the seamless unfolding of the event. She announced the Akhand Paath of Shri Ram Charitmanas starting on January 20, 2024, at 10 am, concluding on January 21, 2024.
Trustee Ajatshatru Singh underscored the need for meticulous planning, focusing on a hassle-free experience for devotees and maintaining temple cleanliness.
Trust’s President, Brig R S Langeh (Retd), assured foolproof arrangements for a spiritually enriching experience.
During a thorough inspection of the temple complex, Ajatshatru Singh, along with officials, imparted essential directives, emphasizing attention to detail.
He appealed to the people of Jammu to actively participate and make the celebration truly memorable.
