JAMMU, Dec 11: The dharna launched by 45 meritorious candidates who were selected under PM package in 2010 and whose recruitment orders were not issued by Government till date for unknown reasons entered 70th day at Exhibition Ground near Press Club here, today.
The protesting candidates are demanding immediate issuance of their appointment orders and justice to them. They said that on flimsy grounds their orders have not been issued by concerned authorities when their other counterparts having secured less points in interview and written test were absorbed in Government services.
The protesting candidates with placards and banners in their hands raising slogans in support of their demands alleged that successive Governments ignored them since 2010 despite being in the merit list. They said during last 10 years the majority of the candidates among them have become over aged and their future has turned bleak due to Government’s apathy.
In their separate appeals to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister , Amit Shah, Union Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh, Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha and Chief Secretary J&K they sought their intervention into the matter and dispensation of justice to these aggrieved candidates as their future is at stake.
