DODA, Apr 4: Director Health Services (DHS) Jammu, Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar here today made his maiden visit to Doda and inspected Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah.
The DHS was accorded warm welcome by Chief Medical Officer Doda, Dr. Om Kumar and Block Medical Officer Bhaderwah, Dr. Mohd Ashraf Kuchay.
Dr. Zargar conducted a thorough visit of various sections of SDH Bhaderwah and interacted with the medical and paramedical staff.
Several local NGOs and prominent citizens also met him and raised demands concerning the healthcare sector.
They stressed on the need for improved facilities, staff augmentation and infrastructure development in SDH Bhaderwah and other peripheral health institutions.
Dr. Zargar assured the public that all possible measures will be taken to enhance healthcare services in the region.
He reiterated his commitment to strengthening infrastructure, ensuring the availability of medical personnel and improving patient care services in SDH Bhaderwah and other health centers.
The DHS also reviewed the ongoing screening camp at SDH Bhaderwah, which is being conducted ahead of the upcoming mega surgical camp organized by Rotary International India from April 16, 2025.
CMO Doda, Dr. Om Kumar, along with BMO Bhaderwah provided a detailed briefing on the functioning and requirements of SDH Bhaderwah to the visiting DHS.
