POONCH, Aug 20: Director Health Services (DHS) Jammu Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman today visited various health institutions in block Mendhar and reviewed their functioning.
Dr Saleem was accompanied by CMO Poonch, during his tour. Besides reviewing the functioning of these health institutions, the DHS also took stock of the services being provided in these health institutions to the local population.
During his visit to Sub District Hospital, the Director Health Services took a detailed round of all sections of the Hospital including OPD, Lab, X-ray Section, Emergency Room, SNCU and Labour Room.
The DHS was pleased to observe that all sections of the SDH were working in close coordination with each other. He appreciated the hard work put in by BMO Mendhar Dr Parvaiz Ahmed Khan and described it as one of the finest SDH and PHCs managed by a skilled and competent officer.
During the visit, a public delegation called on the Director and demanded filling of vacant posts of doctors including anesthetist. DHS gave them a patient hearing and assured to fulfill their demand on priority.
