DHS visits Sarwal hospital, inspects facilities

JAMMU, July 8: Director Health Services, Jammu Dr. Rajeev Sharma, visited Govt. Hospital, Sarwal today to evaluate the healthcare services and facilities provided to the community. This visit was a part of the ongoing efforts by the Health Department to monitor and improve healthcare standards across the region.
The DHS Jammu toured various departments of Sarwal Hospital, including the Emergency ward, Physiotherapy, inpatient units, outpatient clinics, Labour Room and diagnostic facilities. The purpose of the visit was to gain firsthand knowledge about the hospital’s infrastructure, patient care procedures and the overall healthcare delivery system.
During the visit, DHS Jammu engaged in discussions with the hospital administration, medical staff and frontline healthcare workers. They exchanged valuable insights and ideas on ways to enhance the quality and accessibility of healthcare services in Sarwal Hospital. The Director of Health Services acknowledged the dedication and hard work of the healthcare professionals and expressed gratitude for their tireless efforts in serving the community.
In their remarks, DHS emphasized the importance of continuous improvement in healthcare delivery, emphasizing the need for patient-centered care and efficient healthcare management.
