Srinagar, July 31: The Directorate of Health Services Kashmir ( DHSK) is organizing 5th annual conference of the Jammu and Kashmir Chapter of the Association of Surgeons of India ( JAKASICON) from August 19.
In a statement issued here, the organizers said that the conference will be held at Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial (JLNM) Hospital in Rainawari here and at Government Dental College, Srinagar.
“The highlights of the programme including live operative workshop (Common Surgical Procedures) by experts in the field, guest lectures by reputed national faculty, award session for post graduates, expert opinion, discussion on Difficult Surgical Situations, safe way to perform minor but life saving procedures, debates in surgical practice,” the organizers said.
The event will also include poster session, surgical quiz. “The Conference is beneficial and must be attended by surgeons in practice and fellows in training, postgraduate and undergraduate students,” the organizer said.
