Srinagar, Apr 23: The Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir is going to start 24×7 facilities in District Hospitals and Sub District Hospitals of Kashmir Division in five more specialities such as Gynae & Obstetrics, Orthopedics, General Surgery, General Medicine and Paediatrics.
In this regard a committee has also been formed to oversee the process of starting 24×7 services in the mentioned specialities.
The committee, as per an order issued here, will hold meetings with concerned Chief Medical Officers and Medical superintendents to finalize the roasters/logistics for the same.
“In this regard, Chief Medical officers are hereby directed to keep the list of all specialist Doctors Medical Officers & Consultants ready along with their current roasters. Further, Dr Mir Mushtaq Spokesperson DHSK is designated as Nodal Officer of 24×7 speciality services,” DHSK said.
The committee formed in this regard, includes Dr Kousar Amin, Assistant Director DHSK, Dr Shabir Siddique, Divisional Nodal Officer SICUs, Dr Mir Mushtaq Spokesperson DHSK and Mr Shahzaman Sr. Assistant DHSK.
