DODA, Mar 13: District Information Centre Doda today organized an Inter-School Secondary and Senior Secondary level Quiz and Painting Competition at Government Higher Secondary School (Boys) Doda in which students from different schools participated.
Deputy Commissioner Doda Bhupinder Kumar was the chief guest on the occasion while XEn PWD (R&B) Division Bhaderwah A.N Kundal, District Education and Planning Officer Doda Ayaz Mughal, Principal GHSS (Boys) Doda Tanveer Ahmed, District Information Officer Doda Anoop Kumar and senior Lecturers, Masters, Teachers and students attended the programme.
The Quiz Competition was of general nature covering the topics from General knowledge and General Science while the topic of painting competition was “Save the Girl Child, Educate the Girl Child”.
Students of Shaheen Public School Doda bagged 1st position while Chenab Valley Public School Doda and Govt. Higher Secondary School (Boys) Doda bagged 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
In Painting Competition Zoobia Batool of Shaheen Public School Doda won the 1st prize while Alina Hoor of Chenab Valley Public School Doda and Iqra Iqbal Balwan of Shaheen Public School Doda won 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively in the painting competition.
Deputy Commissioner Doda Bhupinder Kumar gave away the prizes among the winners and also addressed the students.
